Summary

Distribute 1,000,000 HBOT tokens from Epoch 1 distribution on the Hackathon that will take place on ETHPortland.

Description

CoinAlpha is sponsoring ETHPortland, a developer conference, from April 7th to 9th.

As a way to incentivize the development of the Hummingbot Client, Hummingbot Foundation proposes to fund 1,000,000 HBOT in prizes for ETHPortland hackathon participants divided in two tracks:

• Lite strategies: use the new prototype “lite strategies” to build a new strategy (https://github.com/hummingbot/hummingbot/issues/4715)
• DEX connectors: extend Gateway-V2 to new chains and protocols (https://github.com/hummingbot/hummingbot/tree/feat/gateway-v2)

Details on how to participate on each track will be published later by the Hummingbot Foundation Team along with the ETHPortland event organization team.

Prizes

Each track will have a prize of 500k HBOT each, with the following distribution:

• Winner reward: 400k to winning entry
• Participant reward: 10k to first 10 accepted entries

Milestones

• Until April, 7 - Rules for each track participation will be published
• April, 7 to April 9 - ETHPortland event
