Vote: Semester II Compensation/Contribution Framework

We’ve created this proposal to develop a framework for contributor compensation and Semester governance at CCS as an experiment for Semester 2, which will be revised and evolved for future semesters.

By saying "Yes" to this proposal, you would be signalling your support for the following actions to be taken:

Establish new compensation mechanisms

We will establish three types of contributors (staff, core contributors and guest contributors) each with their own compensation mechanisms.

Establish a treasury committee to manage the Semester budget

The treasury committee will be led by Liam Herbst, and also include Bhaumik, Olly, Nick and Kass. Its function will be to manage the Semester 2 budget, enable consensus on any new core contributor appointments and handle any contributor complications.
