Future of CroMoon

What is happening

Cromoon was recently purchased by Hibiki.finance. In order to decide the future of the project and token, this governance vote takes place in order for the community to have a say on it. You can read more on the Medium article.

How to proceed

Please read very carefully the three options available before casting your vote. On the next block there are the available options and a detailed description what each one implies.

The options

1) Cromoon token is kept as it is

It is integrated in a hold-for-benefits basis on the roadmap items that allow for that.

Advantage:

• The easiest transition, some holders are fond with the name, there is very little work to do to adapt it.

Disadvantages:

• Tokenomics are outdated and make it so the token is very hard to integrate into neither DeFi nor GameFi (p2e). Cannot implement usecase straight into the token.
• Budget fragmentation so the token from the team funds has to be sold for development and marketing.
• Safemoon, the token that originated this naming scheme, has been under scrutiny due to fraud and all bullrun tokens with similar tokenomics and names are receiving bad reputation over that.
• Looks like a derivative token only for bullruns rather than its own brand.

2) Cromoon token is merged into the Cronos Hibiki token at an equal dollar ratio

Advantages:

• Buyback happens after the airdrop to former Cromoon holders is finished, so secured pump of value for holders.
• Total liquidity is roughly doubled.
• Funds from Hibiki token are used for everything.
• Bridgeable to BSC and other chains soon. This is the only option guaranteeing a bridge.
• Instant access to current DeFi tooling and p2e advantages on Cronos.
• The brand is still kept in some form.

Disadvantages:

• The Cromoon brand becomes a bit nebulous, some holders are fond of Cromoon token as a name.
• The transition could be a bit confusing for some people.

3) Cromoon token is migrated to a new contract with better tokenomics that suit the planned DeFi usage.

Advantages:

• Easier to use the token for DeFi, p2e, and other modern blockchain purposes.
• Can be integrated into the Hibiki ecosystem as a secondary token.

Disadvantages:

• Budget and pump fragmentation, two tokens with liquidity pools for the same projects and tools makes hard to keep both having the same positive price action.
• No bridge.
• Smaller revenue, since it should be either domain specific or sharing space with the other token.
