The crypto scene has been shaken lately with the bankruptcy of FTX and several exchanges seeming insolvent or not owning funds to cover for all users. This has splashed CDC and Cronos in a way that CRO sharply dropped in price, giving a sense of lack of security with their CEX and chain. As such, we should take steps to ensure the safety of the token and to keep the tool usage and availability for the current userbase.
There's several options at hand, so we'd like to know the opinion of the community before performing any action:
Move cHIBIKI to ETH. This means deploying the token contract there with the current snapshotted balances. Cards can be migrated as well, but the game should likely be played in an L2.
Move cHIBIKI to Polygon. It's been around for long, easily bridgeable with Ethereum and BSC, is being used for projects being developed for real use cases.
Move cHIBIKI to BSC. Same as the previous two, keep it on a separated pool for the time being until further chain expansion or until they can be fused in a single pool.
Leave it in Cronos. Whatever is happening, give a vote of confidence to CDC and hope for the best for Cronos and CRO.
Since this is a somewhat urgent situation, the voting is kept short. After considering what the community wants, we'll move forward.
