Chapter 1

This is the story of the second great holy war between good and evil. One that changed the mortal realm forever. In the year 0, the Goddess of the heavens successfully sealed away the Demon King in the underworld, but not before getting severely injured and falling into a deep slumber. The world experienced 2000 years of peace, growing, thriving and building.

However this all changed one day when a man found the relic of the demon king, gained the powers of a demon, and became the first mortal to cross over to the underworld alive. He was somehow able to freely cross over between realms. When he came back, he had made a deal with the Demon King. In return for promising to set the Demon King free, he was granted great power. He came back to the mortal realm, with hundreds of demon crowns imbued with the power of darkness. They started by summoning the Beasts of the underworld, flooding the world with imps, hellhounds and the terrifying Basilisks.

The World that had known peace was thrown into chaos. The Goddess despite waking up had not recovered from her injuries. Fearing the worst she sends her servants to defend the humans of the Earth. Swarms of fairies, Pegasus and the immortal phoenixes came defend Earth. But she knew her armies alone wouldn't be enough to defeat the Demon King, so she told her messengers to find a human and bless them with a Divine Robe. Like how the Demon Crown gave humans the power of a Demon, these Robes gave humans with a righteous heart, the power of the Divine.

These two sides fought for months, but neither side got the upper hand... Until one day, a man wearing a Divine Robe, vanquished an imp and his master outside the battlefield. Then a sudden thought came into his head. What if he could use the Demon King's power against him? What if he wore the crown and the robe? He knew the right procedure was to destroy the crown and that it could change who he was, but right now lives were being lost.

"Should I put on this crown?", he thought?
