Should we fund Divergence Protocol?

Divergence Protocol is a platform for volatility hedging, trading and prediction. They are building decentralized volatility derivatives and volatility-related indices.

Divergence is a decentralized platform for volatility hedging and trading, with an emphasis on Asset prices, Value of LP tokens, Interest Rates, DeFi farming & Staking rewards as well as their respective movements.

Currently, the digital asset market primarily focuses on areas such as security risks of smart contracts and directional price moves of underlying assets. There’s a lack of effective, easy-to-use, and versatile solutions for trading and hedging volatility, especially blockchain native exposures.

To fill this gap, Divergence is developing a range of decentralized volatility derivatives and volatility index products with the aim of becoming the go-to platform for:

1. Risk-averse users to hedge both one-sided or two-sided volatility risks
2. Risk-seeking users to trade and gain leveraged exposures to volatility
3. Risk-neutral users to join as liquidity providers by funding volatility markets and earn fees

They have already completed Seed Round and Private Round. We will fund in their Strategic Round at a price of $3.50 per token (Seed Round - $1.80 per token, Private Round - $2.50 per token). Please check the deck for more information.

If this passes, we will fund the Divergence Protocol, provided they still have allocation left.
