Launch Costs Reimbursement Proposal

Through the course of summoning Hydra, members of the launch team incurred a number of costs. These costs were necessary in order to establish Hydra’s entities, its website, and other related efforts. We have detailed these costs below and included is a link to a google drive folder containing all invoices available to us. In addition, there is a link to a google sheet that provides additional information on these costs for those that are interested.

These costs were undertaken by members of the launch team and thing3 in Hydra’s name. However, now that the DAO has launched the DAO needs to vote to approve these costs retroactively and reimburse those members that fronted the funds. If there are any questions about any payments please that are not answered by the invoices themselves or the linked Google Sheet, please respond in the Discord or Discourse.

Legal

Retainer with Ogiers (Cayman Legal Counsel) for setting up Hydra's legal entity - contracted via Thing3, funds paid initially by Larry but cost covered by Peter. Cayman Legal Retainer 1 - $20,000.00 Member to be Reimbursed - Pet3rPan

Fees to Ogier services for onboarding of funds and managing required books & records under Cayman regulations. KYC & Onboarding Fees - $17,891.40 Member to be Reimbursed - Pet3rPan

Hydra PR

Hydra Gas for Multi-Sig

Pet3r supplied .1 Eth in gas on three separate occasions for the Hydra Multi-sigs and related startup transactions. Gas Costs - $492.90 Member to be Reimbursed - Pet3rPan

KYC

KYC preparation through January of 2023 KYC Costs - $5,460.00 Member to be Reimbursed - Rick (Thing3)

Google Account

Dao@hydraventures.xyz has a paid google account to allow members a repository for documents and recordings. These payments have been paid since November. The cost is $10 per month. It would be prudent to account for the three year run time of Hydra. You'll see this reflected in the total. Payments - $360 Member to be Paid - Pet3rPan

Website

To enable Zypsy to launch the Hydra website a Webflow basic plan was required. In addition, the site needed to be hosted. These two costs are reflected below. Basic Plan - $228 CMS Hosting - $276 Member to be Reimbursed - Austin McKee

Discourse

Hydra has a discourse channel to allow members to view active proposals and discuss in one location. Hydra is receiving 50% off the current base rate for Discourse. We are currently paying $25 per month for this service. Like the Google account, it would be prudent to cover the cost for at least this year. Base Plan - $300 Member to be Reimbursed - Austin McKee
