Proposal for Ops pod Autonomy in Managing Bitcoin Miners.

Voting ended almost 2 years agoSucceeded

We propose to grant the Operational Pod the authority to make timely decisions on when to activate or deactivate our Bitcoin miners. Currently, our miners have been inactive for a month due to operational costs closely aligning with our break-even point, which is currently at a Bitcoin price of approximately $71,000, not accounting for changes in difficulty adjustment, mining pool fees, etc.

By empowering Ops Pod with this authority, we aim to enhance our financial efficiency. This autonomy will enable them to swiftly react to Bitcoin price fluctuations, optimising our mining operations to ensure profitability and reduce potential losses during unfavorable market conditions.

Your vote will determine whether the Ops Pod should have the flexibility to manage this autonomously, or if we should conduct community votes, each lasting at least 48 hours, every time we want to turn the miners on or off.

Please note, a quorum is not required for this vote.
