Earn xICHI Campaign

Proposal: ICHI should allocate $12000 worth of xICHI over six months to fund the Earn xICHI Campaign (See details below). For the following benefits:

Increase in ICHI brand awareness. Increase in community engagement and participation. Promote and benefit from community-generated marketing material. Increase the base of xICHI ownership. Provide opportunities for community members to highlight themselves. Deliver community created learning materials.

Summary: We want to see people join and participate as active and engaging community members in the ICHI DOA. To see this grow, we want to incentivize members to hold xICHI and spread the word about how ICHI is creating products that benefit protocols. To achieve this, we will use xICHI incentives, delivered through the TIP.CC Bot. People will earn up to a max of $100 worth of xICHI by completing small tasks. And establishing a budget to reward community members for completing large tasks. These tasks are designed to further the marketing and engagement goals of ICHI and promote participation and adoption of ICHI. Individuals must prove their completion of the designated tasks (see below) by posting evidence in the “Earn xICHI” Channel on the ICHI Discord Server or by sending products directly to the Community Team. xICHI can also be awarded on a case-by-case basis from the ICHI Community Team for just being an outstanding community member (ex: frequent provision of valuable insights, marketing opportunities, or just showing dedication in the ICHI community).

Objective: This campaign seeks to promote ICHI, reinforce community growth, increase engagement and participation, expand the base of xICHI owners, and project the reach and influence of ICHI across the extent of the decentralized economy. We anticipate that this campaign will enable us to identify and develop members of the community who may be suitable for our ICHI Advocates program. We intend to achieve the following goals over the 6 month period (Our goals include but are not limited to the following, this is a pilot program): 100% increase in Discord server membership. A 50% increase in followership on Twitter. The promotion and incentivisation of community created content. The identification and recruitment of Ambassador candidates.

Timeline: This will be an initial 6 month community growth and contribution pilot.

Requested Budget: We are requesting $12000 USD worth of xICHI to launch this pilot campaign for 6 months.

Rewards: The ICHI Community will decide on appropriate reward amounts depending on the skill and work required to complete the tasks. This ICHI Community Team is accountable for their judgment to the ICHI Community and decisions on this will be in consultation with the wider team and be openly published.

How will we reward participants? The mechanism by which we will reward participants with xICHI is the TIP.CC Bot (https://tip.cc/). We now have the ability to drop xICHI directly to usernames on Discord. Individuals can then withdraw their rewards into their wallets at a point of their choosing.

Governance: The xICHI will be managed by Peter Espino (@HeavyCr3am) on his Discord TIP.CC wallet and tracked via google sheets, so all xICHI budget and tips are followed/fully transparent. Peter will retain discretionary authority to decide who gets rewarded with xICHI and will post and tag his decisions in the “ICHI Army” Discord Channel. The Community team will retain oversight and retain right to veto.

Task Selection Process: The Community Team will establish the specs of tasks, both small and large, with corresponding appropriate xICHI reward amounts. As the campaign progresses, tasks will be decided from the discord community via poll voting system. (Suggestion of tasks that we subsequently launch tasks may also result in a reward of xICHI):

Small Tasks Examples (Not limited to): Quote the latest Tweet from the ICHI Twitter with the hashtags #ichifarm, #angelvaults Asking a good question on an AMA. Production of a meme. A learn to earn mechanism.

Large Task Example (Not limited to): Production of an educational video. Writing of an informative article. Best Meme Competition.

Submission of Evidence: All submissions of proof of task should be posted in the “ICHI Army” Channel and be tagged with @Heavycr3am. The ICHI team will review your tasks and tip you xICHI at the end of the submission window for each task.

Rules: No Bots 1 account per person The ICHI Community Team retains the discretionary authority to decide whether to award xICHI and how much within the confines of the allocated budget.

Conclusion: We are aware that the ICHI Community is a huge pool of talented and engaging individuals who are looking for opportunities to contribute to the life of the ICHI DAO. We seek to create a mechanism by which we can incentivize and reward creative and engaged individuals with proposed tasks that further ICHIs growth objectives. This is a pilot program that we anticipate will teach us a lot about how we best engage with and develop the DAO. This proposal will resource the community team to reward community members for their contributions.
