ICHI Ambassador Program Proposal

Proposal: We are proposing that $50,000 USD worth of ICHI be made available over 6 months for development and delivery of the ICHI Ambassador program.

Objective: This program is designed to be the mechanism by which the ICHI DAO can draw from the wide range of skills community members have to offer and bring those to bear against the full spectrum of ICHI priorities and lines of effort.
We also seek to promote ICHI, reinforce community growth, increase engagement and participation, expand the base of xICHI owners, and project the reach and influence of ICHI across the extent of the decentralized economy.

Summary: ICHI can not achieve its growth objectives alone, we must draw from the pool of talent available to us within the ICHI DAO. This program is designed to act as the mechanism by which talented, committed and knowledgeable community members can formalize their contribution to the ICHI DOA and be properly incentivized and rewarded for their efforts. ICHI Ambassadors represent only the most capable and committed members of the community who are looking for a way to plug in on a formal basis.

What is an ICHI Ambassador? An ICHI Ambassador is a specially selected member of the ICHI DAO that has demonstrated exceptional knowledge and potential to add value to the ICHI Community. They are active community members versed in the wider DeFi landscape, with specific knowledge and insight into how ICHI can best achieve its objectives and play a role in the advancement of other protocols, projects and the DeFi economy and a whole. They may also be individuals with specific specialist skills valuable to ICHI. Ambassadors help others looking to learn more about ICHI across the range of platforms that ICHI communicates on and offer insight and support to the full spectrum of Core ICHI Team departments, in line with individual specific skills and areas of expertise. ICHI Ambassadors are always looking to recruit and develop ICHI Advocates and make themselves as broadly employable as possible across the lines of ICHI effort.

Budget/Timeline: $50,000 USD worth of ICHI over 6 months. Any unused funds will roll over to iteration two or be returned to the ICHI treasury if the program is discontinued. The benefit/value add across ICHI: Support for ICHI product dev (Dev Team). Suport Community engagement. (Community) Content Creation (Marketing Team) Networking/Intros & Strategy (Bus Dev Team) Intros to investors (Bus Dev Team) Educational material development and delivery. Community engagement on social media platforms.

Compensation: Rates of compensation are negotiated on a case by case basis depending on the extent and value of the contribution the Ambassador in question commits to and within the budget proposed. The ICHI DAO will set aside the proposed budget to compensate our Ambassadors, to be paid monthly at the discretion of the Core Team at the agreed amount for deliverables in ICHI at the trailing 30 day USD value rate.

Disclaimer: The ICHI Ambassadors are accountable to the ICHI DAO and the Core ICHI Team reserves the discretionary right to terminate terms of service at any time. Individuals will be compensated up to the point at which their service was terminated.

Review: Outputs will be recorded over the course of the first 6 months and an assessment will be made at the end of this period as to the relative value that this program has delivered. Every effort will be made to ensure that this is an overwhelming success and we anticipate that it will be one of the driving forces behind the growth of the ICHI DAO.

Conclusion: ICHI seeks to leverage the available pool of talent within its community in order to support the different lines of effort and growth objectives of ICHI. The Ambassador program represents the mechanism by which ICHI enables talented individuals to plug into the Team and with a formal relationship, with specific, measurable and time bound outputs.
