What is Governance V2 and how does Illuvium DAO Governance work?

Illuvium DAO is governed by its councils. Governance v2 has established 4 sub-councils to assist in DAO governance and enhance overall decentralisation. Once sub-councils are established, sub-councils will choose 1 member to move up to the IMC (Illuvium Main Council) where the protocol votes are finalised.

How are the votes weighted?

Each wallet address will be allowed to vote for a single Candidate where the number of votes cast will be determined by the following formula: C = N² Where the cost C is measured in vILV balance, which calculates ILV in staking + ILV representation in ILV/ETH staking + Locked ILV (for investors and team) and N represents the number of votes cast for that candidate
