Swap Fees For IF Buybacks

What is the problem / opportunity? As the key governance token of Impossible Finance, IF token has a strategic importance in the Impossible Finance ecosystem. The fundamental value of IF tokens drive the decision making and strategy towards the path of multichain. To power the governance strategy, a part of swap fees will be used to buyback IF tokens in Impossible swap from time to time.

What is the proposed solution? As a key product of the Impossible Finance ecosystem, IF swap has an important role to tokens liquidity. With Launchpad projects and the Impossible Partners Program, Impossible Swap is the best place for partner liquidity, which generates a stable amount of fees, to be fed into the Impossible Finance ecosystem. Swap fees can be used to support the Impossible ecosystem through buybacks of IF, the governance token.

Key milestones / timeline The proposed change will not impact liquidity providers. They will still earn the same fees on the corresponding pairs proportional to their share of the pool. The remaining swap fees from the Impossible Swap will be used by the Impossible DAO to buyback IF.

Next actions: If the change is approved, swap fees will be moved to buy back positions of IF tokens.

Benefits to token holders and community members This change will support the strategy governance of the Impossible Finance ecosystem, and incentivise active IF holders to decide their voting decision and powers to proposals.
