Contract Extension for Core Team Members

Abstract:

To run the day to day of operations of inBetweeners, we’ve contracted a handful of seasoned executives, agencies, and community members to bring inBetweeners to the world spotlight.

These core team members include:

• Jeff Carvalho (Head of Partnerships): Co-Founder @ HighSnobiety (recently acquired), Co-Founder @ Culture Club on Clubhouse (4+ million followers)
• Bradley Carbone (General Manager): Special Projects @ Adidas Originals, Founding team @ Complex, Founder @ Sneeze Magazine
• Miana Lauren (Head of Community): Member of inBetweeners community since Day 1, responsible for community and Discord operations, Socials, the “inBetween” for the community & core team, and more
• Hadi Tehereny (Head of IRL) : Founder @ Adelaide Park, an events agency that has hosted parties for Drake, Weeknd, Netflix, Remy Martin, and more.
• FYI Brand Group (PR): International PR group whose clients include Kanye West, Travis Scott, Weeknd, Odell Beckham Jr., Adidas, Lacoste, and more

The Reality of Right Now

Since the first core team proposal was closed in March, we’ve experienced a systemic market downturn that has crashed the value of Ethereum as well as an 80% downturn in NFT trading volume. While we have a few announcements coming up that we believe will drastically alter trading volume and floor price - we need to reorient our strategy and headcount during the bear market.

The Past

inBetweeners was launched when the NFT market was hitting euphoric highs - trading volume climbed and the price of ETH grew higher. At the same time, our founding team required extra assistance to keep up with the community, partnership inbound and outreach, and our socials - as a result, we made key hires. As the dust settled, in turn of lower activity and slower pace - in the best interest of the holders/project, we made adjustments to pause Discord moderator compensation. Although we are more than grateful to our whole mod team, we felt this was the appropriate move to direct the resources to forward growth during the current state.

The Future

Together, our team has solidified relationships with luxury brands, fashion houses, toy makers, video game makers, leading web3 platforms/communities, and premium nightlife groups - all while fostering a community of over 150k+ individuals across all social channels. With this in mind, inBetweeners is incredibly well positioned to become a global brand… one the NFT world has yet to see.

Starting next month, we’ll be transitioning our events coordinator from retainer-based compensation to event-based compensation.

Cost: 45.48 or 84.60 ETH (Current Balance: 127.36 ETH)

Accountability: inBetweeners core team will be responsible for all hiring, operations, roles & responsibilities definition, and termination if needed. Payments to contractors will be weekly. If and when the proposal is approved, the funds will be transferred and swapped into USDC.
