XIP-1: XIP Purpose and Guidelines

XIP-1 proposes the framework by which members of the Infinex community will be able to suggest changes, improvements, and updates to the protocol. This will be executed in the form of Infinex Improvement Proposals (XIPs).

Once implemented, all suggestions and contributions to the development of Infinex will need to be executed through XIPs to be implemented. Anyone within the Infinex community will be welcome to submit an XIP; however, they must meet the written standards and formatting prior to being put forward for vote by the Infinex Council. The Infinex Council will hold the authority to approve or reject any proposal, finalized by a majority vote.
