IIP-22 Budget Request for Q2 2024 for Iporians

Summary

To strengthen the collaboration between the IPOR DAO and the Iporian group, this proposal suggests a refinement in the IPORIAN budget allocation. The proposal recommends a total monthly budget of *$4,500, to be distributed as a fixed budget + flexible IBI based on the IPORIAN count, subject to quarterly reviews.

The IPOR tokens used as payment will be sent to an Arbitrum safe (multisig) wallet, with 2 of 3 signers (Marco, Rado and Sage).

Problem/issue

The proposal focuses on approving the budget for the specific period mentioned, and reviewing the Q1-2024 performance and compensation of the IPORIANs.

Solution

Q1 Performance is in the document below, along with Q2 rationale. 3 IPORIANS will be removed from Compensation and put on watch given their lack of contribution. Please see all details below.

Given the removal of 3 IPORIANs from compensation, the IPORIANs believe Q2-2024 compensation should be 500 lower per user lost, for a total of $4500 for the existing 7 IPORIANs receiving compensation. The structure will be the same 40% Fixed, 40% self-reported, and 20% consensus recognition.

1. Increased member participation.
2. Enhanced motivation and retention of IPORIANS.
3. Enhanced value provision to the IPOR ecosystem

Timeline & Reporting

The proposal seeks to initiate the new budget allocation, subject to approval from the IPOR DAO, a couple days post approval. The April payment will be made in arrears. The payment details would then be as follows: End of May: $4500 + $4500 = $9000. End of June: $4500 Regular reporting on the budget allocation and its impact will be provided through an IPORIAN-specific Dework board on Discord.
