Thesis:

Proposal for 0xBA5ED to enter a trial period of one funding cycle with a payment of $3000.

Abstract:

Past month I have spend 30-50(+?) hours a week working on various Juicebox smart contracts and have done multiple pull-requests that have been merged. I am now proposing to enter a trial period for one funding cycle with a payment of $3000.

Motivation:

Past month I have spend 30-50(+?) hours a week working on various Juicebox smart contracts, here is some of the work I have done so far (ordered from biggest to smallest):

• Implemented the linear decreasing voting power for veBanny contract (Still work-in-progress)

• Added EIP-165 support to Juicebox V2 (including tests)

• Simplified veBanny contract and added support to redeem multiple veBannys at once

• Moved all V2 Errors to prevent conflicts

• Wrote proof-of-concept code for AppleJuice terminal and brainstormed with @Dr Gorilla on the architecture

• Found and fixed potential issue(s) in veBanny contract (Fixes, Discord explanation)

• Various other minor fixes and updates (such as #1, #2)

As I get more comfortable with the Juicebox codebase i’ll be able to increase my productivity and start shipping more code per cycle.

Specification:

$3000 trial payout for funding cycle 22 to 0x1864822f9b32ed59a456a1eeec2a83c76637f33f

Rationale:

I had a hard time figuring out what amount to propose for this trial payout, after discussing with a Juicebox contributor $3000 was suggested as a good trial payment, which imo is a fair amount for both me and the DAO. As this gives me the opportunity to keep working 30-50(+) hours a week and provide more contributions to hopefully start a recurring payment in the future.
