Summary:

Compensate @Mr. Goldstein $1,500 USD (in JBX or ETH) per funding cycle in exchange for further work in Mechanism and Protocol spaces for cycles 12 and 13.

What role have you played in the community and what have you contributed thus far?

So far, my work has spanned across these focus areas:
- Mechanism:
  - Existing mechanism research and documentation
  - Initial development of the Mechanism Workspace to better highlight the elements, potential, and risks of each element of the existing Juicebox mechanism
  - Preliminary research in new mechanism opportunities to advance the functionality of the JBX token including drafting proposals on the topic in FC#11 and FC#12
  - Community engagement around mechanism education and exploration through open community discussions on discord
- Smart Contract Security:
  - Support in the identification of Juicebox smart contract auditor & proposal development
  - Proposal to develop a Juicebox bug bounty program

What role do you plan on playing in the community going forward?

I plan to continue developing mechanism related research across multiple aspects including:
- Explore examples of mechanism adjustments across DAOs operating on the Juicebox Protocol (PEOPLE, TILE, SHARK)
- The combination of JBX token utility with Juicebox protocol pricing
- Quantitative effects of mechanism adjustments (e.g., exploring the impact of mechanism changes on JBX token price)
- Token staking as opportunity for larger voting power accumulation (e.g., veCRV model)
Work with Juicebox Analytics team to identify and showcase the right data in support of the Juicebox mechanism and the JBX token
Continuing to build the Mechanism workspace and Wiki as the key source of research and education on the Juicebox mechanism for the JuiceboxDAO community and projects building on the Juicebox protocol
Continued support of the protocol security (Audit & Bug Bounty) program where needed

How much do you want to earn? What else do you foresee needing from the community for you to do your best work?

$1,500 USD paid in JBX each cycle for cycles 12 and 13.
Community support, participation, and input in mechanism research and discussions to help assess the impact of potential mechanism changes on all stakeholders

What does success look like for someone taking on your role?

For this role success is combined from two key elements:
- Deepening our collective understanding of the potential in the Juicebox Protocol mechanism
- Identifying and developing tangible new methods to continue improving the Juicebox Protocol mechanism

The payment amount should be adjusted as I take on additional responsibilities, do not present progress on research areas, or shift my focus towards other tasks
