Thesis:

Proposal for 0xBA5ED to enter a recurring payout of $8000 per funding cycle.

Abstract:

I have continued working full-time since I proposed my Trial Payout for FC #22 and would like to enter a recurring payout of $8000 per funding cycle to continue working full-time.

Motivation:

I have continued working full-time since I proposed my Trial Payout for FC #22, here is some of the work I have done since then (ordered from biggest to smallest):

• Started working on the AppleJuiceTerminal with @Dr Gorilla (Allows projects to earn yield on their treasury assets) (Still work-in-progress)

• Various work on veBanny (PR)

  • Setup the deployment script (Commit)

  • Deployed on Testnet (Etherscan) (Opensea)

  • Minor changes and cleanup (#1, #2, #3, #4)

  • Prepared snapshot.org voting strategy (Commit) (based on @filipv.eth new delegation strategy)

Previous work (as described in the trial payout):

• implemented the linear decreasing voting power for veBanny contract

• Added EIP-165 support to Juicebox V2 (including tests)

• Simplified veBanny contract and added support to redeem multiple veBannys at once

• Moved all V2 Errors to prevent conflicts

• Wrote proof-of-concept code for AppleJuice terminal and brainstormed with @Dr Gorilla on the architecture

• Found and fixed potential issue(s) in veBanny contract (Fixes, Discord explanation)

• Various other minor fixes and updates (such as #1, #2)

The veBanny work was mostly tying up loose ends which doesn’t produce as much results to show for it, a big part was communication and making sure the contract meets all the requirements.

Risks:

• Lower quality or less code shipped

• 0xBA5ED could vanish

Specification:

For the next 6 funding cycles add (0xBA5ED) 0xb045708e396E20071324C1aed2E4CFB90A0764FE to the JuiceboxDAO recurring payouts for $8000 per funding cycle and add him to the list of beneficiaries of reserved JBX.

Rationale:

Similar to my Trial Payment I had a hard time figuring out the exact amount to propose, but I knew I wanted it to be at the lower end of the other full-time Juicebox solidity/contract developers, as they all have way more experience with the Juicebox V2 contracts than I do.

After asking a few contributors for feedback/recommendations the amount I was recommended was $9,000-$10,000. Myself feeling like this was a bit too high in combination with this proposal I decided to drop it to $8,000.
