JBP-343 - Renew recurring payout to zhape.eth

Synopsis

to renew the recurring payout and reserved token beneficiary for zhape.eth.

Motivation

zhape.eth hopes to continue contributing to JuiceboxDAO in the respects of community alignment, translation and visibility etc.

Specification

pay zhape.eth US$2,000 in equivalent of ETH each funding cycle for 7 FCs.

Rationale

What I have done in the last payout period:

1. Town hall summaries. I have been compiling summaries for town halls of JuiceboxDAO every week, trying to give more backgrounds or contexts for the topics on these meetings so that someone curious might easily have some ideas what’s happening in our community in the past week. I think in some sense the development of Juicebox can also be revealed to the outside world in a chronicle way.

   I have made 14 summaries in the past 7 funding cycles from Nov. 1st, 2022 till Jan. 31, 2023, and here is where they can be found: https://info.juicebox.money/town-hall/

2. Chinese versions of town hall summaries. I have been trying to relay the essential information to our Chinese speaking community members, same as the English versions. This is where they can be found: https://info.juicebox.money/zh/town-hall/

3. Continue working on https://crowdin.com/project/juicebox-interface to help translate the Chinese version of JBM in a timely manner.

   

4. Used my personal twitter account (https://twitter.com/zhape1112) to help spread some information about Juicebox ecosystem.

   • When a new governance cycle starts, prepare concise summaries of ongoing proposals in Chinese, and notify different stages of governance (temperature check, Snapshot voting), so that Chinese speaking members can get the gist of these proposals and hopefully join our governance.
   • Shared some projects that might be interesting to other community members or outsiders, such as ConstitutionDAO2, Defifa World Cup, Defifa NFL Playoffs, etc.
   • Shared some blog posts and town hall CN summaries, in a hope to attract more interest from the outside world.

5. Tried to make 2 tutorial videos on about how to create a project (https://youtu.be/oNLYDGmWcSU)and make some followup setting(https://youtu.be/DvUeWS_zzG8) on Juicebox in Chinese.

6. Acted as mod in Chinese channels, answered questions and share the going-ons in the ecosystem with our cn speaking members.

7. Did some other translations of blog posts and posted them to corresponding Chinese pages.

   

What I plan to do in the next payout period

1. Carry on with pretty much of all the above-mentioned work, unless some of them are deemed not as necessary in the future.
2. I want to spend more time to learn and improve my ability in contents creation, such as video tutorials, short videos, articles and etc. Though I think relaying information in a timely manner will also be important, I am hoping I can create some of my own contents that can be of value to our community and ecosystem.
3. I created a JBXCN project in a hope to get some grants from JuiceboxDAO to help fund some aspects of development in Chinese specific areas/regions. This project has been temporarily put on hold completely due to my lack of in-depth high level planning in these efforts. I want to keep trying planning and experimenting, hopefully with kind helps extended from other DAO contributors or members, as I will definitely ask for help and support in this effort that only can be accomplished with team work.

Timeline

If approved, this proposal will take effect from FC #42, and end after FC#48.
