JBP-474 - Fund Maintenance and Development of Juicebox Infrastructure (Subgraph + Infura)

Synopsis

Provide funding for JB infrastructure maintenance + Subgraph development

Motivation

The Subgraph and Infura both provide critical functionality for juicebox.money and need to be paid each month.

In order to integrate the V4 JB contracts with juicebox.money or any other interfaces, we will need a new subgraph adapted for v4 contracts.

Specification

Create a payout to peri.eth of $4,000/FC to fund:

• Continuous funding of Alchemy Subgraphs (~US$200/mo) and Infura (~US$200-400/mo) accounts paid by Peri.
• Ongoing maintenance of the current subgraph as needed.
• Development of a V4 subgraph to a similar level of functionality provided by the current subgraph. Due to contract changes in V4, entities in the V4 subgraph will not match 1:1 with those in the current subgraph. As research + development progresses, these discrepancies will become more clear.

Rationale

Without Infura/Alchemy, juicebox.money would be nuked. Without a V4 subgraph, V4 JB contracts will be extremely difficult to interface with for user-facing purposes.

Risks

• The V4 subgraph may not be completed on time, or have bugs that negatively affect users.
• Peri may forget to pay the bills.

Timeline

This proposal should take effect immediately once ratified.
