EVOLutions Drop Mechanics

INTRO:

KidEight has been working on a new collection named 'EVOLutions' and in the spirit of transparency, collaboration, and community we're turning to you to consider, discuss, and vote on the mechanics of the release.

STATS:

The collection size is 888 uniquely generated works minted on the Ethereum blockchain on an ERC-721 contract.

GOALS:

1. Prioritize existing KidEight collectors & curate a more refined collective of holders who understand that the EVOLutions tokens will become the premium currency in the KidEight art and product ecosystem.

2. Manage hype and speculation while creating a seamless and sophisticated minting experience.

3. Create incentives and opportunities for collectors to mint more than 1 token. Ideally, there would be 222-333 MAX number of collectors of the 888 total token supply.

More art. 6 free claims in the first 6 months. VIP invitation to W1 Curates show in June. Print claim for EVOLutions holders.

THE OPTIONS:

You will be asked to vote on the following options as mechanics for the drop. Please read them carefully and remember your preferred option.

OPTION 1 - TOKENGATED MINT WITH PREFERRED PRICING BASED ON NUMBER OF G'EVOLs OWNED

Phase 1: Tokengated mint 0.0888 ETH - 24 hours Phase 2: Public mint 0.3 ETH - 24 hours Phase 3: Burn 3 G'EVOLs to receive 1 EVOLution mint

You must hold at least 3 G'EVOLs for the tokengated mint.

The maximum number of mints of each phase will be 3 EVOLutions and will apply to that phase only. Meaning if you meet all the qualifications of each phase, you can participate in any/all phases and mint a maximum of 9 EVOLutions tokens over the course of the entire drop.

There will not be a set number of tokens reserved for each phase. It will be first come, first serve. If the entire collection sells out during phase 1, there will not be a phase 2.

OPTION 2 - TIERED MINT PRICE BASED ON NUMBER OF G'EVOLs BURNED

Phase 1: Burn 3 get 1 free - 24 hours Phase 2: Burn 2 pay 0.1 ETH - 24 hours Phase 3: Burn 1 pay 0.2 ETH - 24 hours Phase 4: Tokengated mint (must hold 1 G'EVOL) 0.3 ETH - 24 hours Phase 5: Public mint 0.3 ETH - 24 hours

There will be no maximum mints during each phase.

There will not be a set number of tokens reserved for each phase. It will be first come, first serve. If the entire collection sells out during phase 1, there will not be a phase 2.

OPTION 3: BURN FOR PRE-SALE + PUBLIC MINT

Phase 1: Burn 3 G'EVOLs to claim 1 EVOLution - 24 hours Phase 2: Public mint 0.3 ETH

The "max" number of mints for phase 1 will be 3 EVOLutions; which will mean burning 9 G'EVOLs. The maximum number of mints for the public sale will be 6 EVOLutions.

There will not be a set number of tokens reserved for each phase. It will be first come, first serve. If the entire collection sells out during phase 1, there will not be a phase 2.

THAT'S ALL

Closing thoughts - yes, we have a preference out of these three options, but are curious to see what the majority preferred mechanic is. Each options require different levels of technical development and planning and may impact the release date and timeline.
