There's a 4-month program this summer with the Ethereum foundation to onboard new developers to development of the Ethereum blockchain. I'd like to apply- I've been interested in the core Ethereum protocol (as opposed to just building applications on top of it), but haven't been able to find a way to get involved.
The application is due May 31st. Should I apply to this program? The downside is this would take time away from my current tasks (primarily learning Russian and doing some frontend web development.)
