Proposal: Dissolution of Kift DAO

Summary

This proposal seeks approval from the Kift DAO community to dissolve the DAO, distribute treasury ETH to NFT holders, and close all DAO operations. The plan ensures all active members can redeem fairly.

Inactivity: DAO activity has declined, and dissolution is the responsible next step.

Fairness: Treasury ETH should be returned to NFT holders equitably.

Finality: A clear 30-day process ensures closure while rewarding those who participate.

Plan of Action

1. Dissolution Approval -If this proposal passes Snapshot governance requirements (30+ unique votes), Kift DAO will formally dissolve.

2. Redemption Mechanism -A smart contract will be deployed on Ethereum to allow holders to redeem their NFTs for a share of the treasury ETH. -Redemption rate: Treasury ETH Balance ÷ Total NFTs that register during Claim Window -DAO treasury will pay gas fees (estimated at ~$5 per tx) as part of airdrop -Those that received air drops for their efforts in building out (and dissolving) the DAO infrastructure are encouraged to redeem what they feel is appropriate re their level of effort.

3. Claim Window -Registration will be open for 30 days after contract deployment. NFT Holders wishing to redeem their NFTs need to register their NFTs, with the wallet they wish to receive ETH to, during the claim window.

4. Airdrop Window -After the 30-day Claim Window period closes: ETH will be airdropped to the wallet address that registered the NFTs, regardless of current ownership at the time of airdrop.

5. Timeline -Proposal circulated on discord and vote available on on Snapshot for 10 Days -Upon the Proposal passing, Contract deployed and Claim Window lasts for 30 days from deployment. -Airdrop completed within 45 days total (from Snapshot going live).

6. Closure -After distribution, DAO communication channels (e.g., Discord) will be archived. -Final announcement and Etherscan links will be published for transparency.

FOR — Approve dissolution of Kift DAO, distribution of ETH, and wind-down as outlined. AGAINST — Do not dissolve Kift DAO at this time.
