We have been invited by Fred and Joanne Wilson’s organization Gotham Gives to host a booth at the 2023 NYC CS Career Fair. This is a great opportunity to inform the future of the computer science industry about web3, DAOs, and how both can change the face of how sports are run.

What is it?

The NYC Computer Science Opportunity Fair (CS Fair) is the largest annual college and career inspiration event for public high school students studying computer science in New York City. This event is part of Fred Wilson's philanthropic work with Gotham Gives. The 2023 CS Fair will take place on April 25, 2023, at the 168th Street Armory. More than 2,000 students are expected to engage with companies, interact with computer science organizations, and learn about educational opportunities at colleges and universities. The event will include interactive activities, an "interview experience," emerging tech such as AI, videos, robots, and even dancing!

Why Krause House?

The CS Fair contacted us to represent web3 and DAOs in the event's "emerging tech" room, which showcases other web3 and AI initiatives. As basketball is a significant part of NYC students' lives, the CS Fair is very excited to have us participate and demonstrate how sports and web3 can be combined.

Goals:

1. Purpose: To inform the upcoming generation of those interested in a tech career about web3 and how they can participate.

Tactics:

• Create an informative booth that explains what a DAO is and how Krause House aims to make fractionalized ownership and fan involvement the way of the future of sports.
• Showcase our involvement in Big3, OTE, and Karate Combat, including:
  • Ball Hogs Documentary and fan engagement
  • Gameday
  • OTE Discord Server

2. Purpose: Leverage our unique goal to attract future tech workers to Krause House and web3 contributions.

Tactics:

• Through our booth, swag stickers, and immersive education, guide those interested in KH on how to get involved.
