As owners of the Ball Hogs, we get 3 executive positions to act as a liaison between our community and the BIG3. This proposal nominates Uncle Jon (CEO), Commodore (Chairman), and Flex Chapman (President) as those executives. The 3 will host biweekly meetings to both communicate Ball Hogs operations amongst themselves and the broader community (these meetings must be open to all Krause House ticket holders.
With the upcoming season quickly approaching, we urgently need to fill these roles and begin more formal operations of the Ball Hogs. Uncle Jon has been thoroughly involved with all Ball Hogs discussions up to this point and is committed to the team’s success. Commodore and Flex landed the original BIG3 deal and have a strong line of communication with the BIG3. The combination of these three individuals will provide a dual-sided approach to Krause-BIG3 communications as Uncle Jon focuses primarily on the community (Krause House) side, and Flex/Commodore focus on the BIG3 side.
This team is not meant to hold these roles indefinitely, but for this quickly approaching season. Their positions will expire as of the final day of the BIG3 season (the all-star game). In addition, they will need to agree to have thorough communications with the broader Krause House community and encourage involvement with the Ball Hogs for all interested members. In doing so, we hope to have a far greater pool of capable, enthusiastic, and grassroots candidates for these positions leading into the off-season.
At any time, any current executive can be removed from office by the Stewards or through a vote by the community. The replacing executive would be nominated through a proposal and voted on by the community.
As part of their duties, the executives will be responsible for gathering and publishing feedback from the community on a regular basis. If any community member feels one of the executives is doing a poor job in their role and needs removal / reevaluation, they may raise these concerns to the Stewards at the weekly meeting.
