The purpose of this proposal is to get a temperature check from the Krause House community about the MyJerry project and if it should continue receiving funding & contributor effort. If the proposal passes, a detailed project budget will follow and will be mapped to milestones.

What is MyJerry?

MyJerry is a social, gamified app for basketball fanatics where digital and IRL engagement is rewarded. It’s more than an Avatar project. Users compete to level up and earn rewards by shooting hoops, socializing in online basketball communities, and completing basketball-related challenges.

Tradeable wearables, badges, and digital rewards can be earned through MyJerry, equipped on your PFP avatar and proudly displayed in your profile. Physical rewards like tickets to NBA games, NBA merch, and autographed goods can also be earned by levelling up.

Why we’re making this proposal

We’re one day into our first small cohort beta test & looking to check the temperature from the Krause House community and see if they value 1) what’s been built so far 2) the vision for MyJerry (see milestones & roadmap below)

50 MyJerry Avatars were minted within 1 day of internal beta launch. The purpose of the beta launch is to collect user feedback and iterate upon the product to prep for the public beta launch.

• As outlined in the Game Plan, we are still in the Credibility Phase and what we’ve realized since building MyJerry is that the system we’ve created is a way to not only track and reward KH community members + onboard hundreds of thousands of basketball fans… but also how it can be used for other sports, brands, communities and organizations.
• Revenue generation for Krause House through partnership + sponsorship opportunities through a shared revenue model
• Revenue generation from Web3 activities such as NFT sales, Avatar Sales & Digital Wearables sales
• Revenue generation from battle pass monetization mechanisms
• Visible product developed, in-house, by Jerry’s in Krause House; a product we can rally behind and proliferate while building credibility and reputation in the industry

Current Opportunities

MyJerry is more than a “PFP” project. It’s a rewards system that can be white labelled for other organizations.

White Label Prospects

• In the past two weeks we’ve had several inbound organizations reach out to explore using MyJerry for their needs

1. NBN23 / SWISH’s Web3 department
   1. SWISH is an app that tracks basketball live stats, results, rankings for organized basketball leagues around the world
   2. SWISH’s Web3 team is negotiating with the MyJerry to implement the MyJerry Avatars & XP system into it’s app of 300,000 existing users
      1. KH Benefit: We are currently in discussions for the project as the primary vendor and are negotiating a fee & NFT royalties that MyJerry can return back to the DAO.
2. NYU Tisch
   1. KH Member, Smit, who is a top sports management student at NYU shared an opportunity from NYU. It’s in its early phases but if selected as the primary vendor, the MyJerry team would be contracted to build out a white label solution for NYU and collaborate to help revolutionize the entire academic landscape using web3.
3. In The Lab
   1. Interested in an easy platform to enter web3, abstract complexity for their large basketball audience and monetize via NIL Avatars, wearables, badges, exclusive content & experiences.
   2. Krause House would be able to organically onboard In The Labs digital audience

We believe this is only the beginning of MyJerry.

If this proposal passes, Boosh, Denny & Kevtae will make submit a team budget proposal to continue the development of MyJerry along with key milestones mapped to the budget. Mario & Dog are currently on streams.
