Initiating a decentralized investment operations practice at Krause House
FUNDING: 10,000 $KRAUSE per month for two months.
PROJECT LEADS: Lewwwk#4227
SUMMARY: Decentralized operations is a core competency of Krause House. We are applying that competency to the investment activities of KrauseHouse. This project will establish the foundations of a Decentralized Investment Operations (DIO) practice at KrauseHouse and set the foundations for a Krause House Venture Fund.
GOAL OF PROJECT:
The goal of this project is to establish and test initial DIO practices for running a Krause House Venture Fund.
WHY THIS MATTERS: As Krause House brings decentralization into professional sports ownership and operations, there is significant room for innovation across all of sport. Being able to invest in that innovation is an important contribution toward making our mission and vision possible, while also providing additional treasury diversification opportunities. Finally, establishing better practices for investment operations will also improve our ability to scalablely enable community acquisition of teams everywhere.
HOW THIS WILL BE DONE:
We will run two monthly sprints to establish and test decentralized investment operations for a venture fund across the following areas:
At the end of each month, Lewwwk will run a coordinape give circle with all contributors to determine the allocation of that month’s 10,000 $KRAUSE budget.
DEFINITION OF SUCCESS:
This project will be a success if it can demonstrate minimal viable investment practices that work in a decentralized context and have resulted in at least:
We will look to provide basic documentation around each of these practices.
TEAM:
This sprint will be led by Lewwwk with the support of a growing roster of Jerrys.
In a recent survey to start building a roster of DIO talent we received 42 responses, the majority of whom are currently active investors. 95.2% of all respondents were interested in participating in the DIO.
