SUMMARY:

The dev team is requesting a seed budget in order to handle payments for their team internally and operate more autonomously while maintaining alignment with the broader DAO towards purchasing an NBA team. With the KH Dev Sub-DAO, we hope to cultivate a culture of building within Krause House, increase developer bandwidth, and implement best-in-class web3 development processes and practices. This is a one-off seed funding and will require an additional proposal for any more funds.

These funds will be used for new developer bounties, development expenses (gas costs, SaaS tools, etc), and other experimental projects the team decides to take on. This funding does not go towards any currently compensated developers (i.e. Eli and greg).

WHY THIS MATTERS:

Krause House rests on the idea that web3 enables a better operating model for sports franchises. To demonstrate and leverage this improved approach, we must build the infrastructure and applications that make such an operating model a reality.

HOW THIS WILL BE DONE:

1. To start, the Gnosis Safe signers will collectively determine how the team will use funds and operate.
2. The devs currently on DAO streams will continue to receive their streams from the Krause House treasury. They will receive none of this funding.

Dev Team Governance:

• The funding will be sent to the KH Dev Team gnosis safe for management under gnosis signers.
• These signers (mentioned above) will shape the early agenda for this dev team, and can progressively decentralize as they see appropriate.

TEAM:

The current dev team is not new and has been operating within Krause House for 2 months+. We have delivered on multiple projects (KrauseBot in #nba-picks channel, KH Roster, KH Analytics Site) and have more in progress. This is with few formal working processes and severely limiting levels of bandwidth. We hope to drastically increase our output capability in the coming months.
