Updating the Manifesto, as the DAO is constantly evolving we need to make adjustments in order to improve the current running structure.
We would like to:
propose a quarterly budget for small and medium sized transactions and a normal voting process for big transactions. amend missing incentives structure information.
The idea of a quarterly budget for small and medium sized transactions is to be used for growth guild related activities and engineering guild related activities.
To amend the manifesto with inclusion of the lead incentives. During the transition into a DAO we missed adding the lead incentive structure during the first manifesto. Contribution level: Lead 1.428 / Strategic Lead 1.715
When issues regarding service maintenance arise (usually DEV related), the Core-Contributors have to take action and provide instant solutions to the problem.
A typical case scenario where this plays out is “The Optimism Keeper for Kromatika will stop working from 31st DEC, 2022 if we don’t fund the new one and if this happens it will lead to degraded quality in the DAPP functionality for Optimism Network.”
If this should go into proper voting procedure which lasts up to 3 weeks, we wouldn’t be able to meet the deadline. This is why we intend to use a quarterly budget for case scenarios like this and skip the voting for urgent infrastructure maintenance that requires instant attention. This way, the problem can be solved immediately by the core-contributors..
This also gives the growth guild a budget to carry marketing related activities to grow the community.
A community member pointed out the lead incentives weren't included. As the lead incentives have been an ongoing incentive structure prior to being a DAO we need to amend the manifesto to include it.
We ask for a 300k quarterly Krom budget to carry out the above. Any remaining funds at the end of the quarter be carried over into the new quarter and be added to the new quarters allocation.
