Landowner Free Mint Perk V2

INTRO

One of the perks of being a Land DAO land token holder (“landowners”) is that they are able to claim a free mint from each of our NFT launches for each land token owned.

Land DAO will be implementing free minting passes which can be redeemed for free mints 24 hours before our NFT launches. Free minting passes can also be sold on an NFT marketplace like OpenSea (all minting passes are ERC-721 tokens).

PROPOSAL

Going forward, landowners will be able to claim one (1) free minting pass instead of minting for free directly, providing them with optionality: they can use the pass, save it for another launch, or sell it. The window for claiming free minting passes will be 24 hours before a public sale, requiring that landowners be engaged with the DAO in order to claim their pass in time.

RATIONALE

Carrying out this proposal would provide landowners with an improved, more flexible version of the existing free mint perk, and encourage awareness from DAO members so that they don't miss the window to claim their pass (there will be a Discord announcement each time).

TIMELINE

This proposal will be implemented over the next 2 weeks alongside the ORE tokens and store contracts.
