Creation of a Grants Committee

As part of the initial work on optimizing the operations of the DAO, Bestape has proposed the creation of a Grants Committee to assist in the day to day management of finding, winning, and allocating funding projects on behalf of the DAO.

With that said we are proposing that a committee be formed, initially of 3 members, as an initial working group to steward the DAO's interests in these projects.

This phase of the project would include the following responsibilities:

1. Creating a protocol for sourcing and managing referred opportunities across LexDAO and its subDAOs
2. Creating a protocol for storing and managing the budgets through a linked wallet in Gnosis
3. Tracking the available grant capital in the treasury
4. Allocating the Grant budgets across projects in the DAO (with open DAO member votes and approval)
5. Documenting and retaining records regarding the budgets and use of the Grant money
6. Working with DAO and subDAO Members to craft proposals
7. Submitting all Grant proposals on behalf of the DAO and its subDAOs
8. Providing a quarterly report on the projects to be compiled for the DAO

Your current nominations for the initial committee team include Bestape, Tertius, and Cimply. If and when the vote is confirmed, we would welcome any changes to the proposal, including (but not limited to) expanding the committee group to include additional members.
