Reduction in Councilor’s Season Rewards

Abstract Since the treasury does no longer have the funds to sustain expenditures of a large team. I believe that it is time to reduce the reward given to Councilors from $1,000 per season to $0, the role should be voluntary moving forward (season = 6-month period. Since the game will be coming down for an unknown time and the DAO does not have money to review funding proposals, the work required by Councilors will also be less.

Motivation The motivation to write this proposal is to reduce CU treasury expenditures to the bare minimum since the treasury does not have much more funds left. For the good of all the CU community, we need to reduce our treasury burn rate as much as possible to survive this next period. If we are able to survive this period and flourish again, then another proposal may be submitted to justify the changes of increasing the stipend. Right now we need to put the survival of the community first.
