Lido Labs Board Update: Appointment of Nemo as Director

This vote seeks Lido DAO approval for the appointment of Nemo (@nemo) as a director of Lido Labs Foundation ("Lido Labs").

Nemo has been an active contributor to Lido DAO since October 2024, working hands-on across the Lido-DAO-adjacent organizations — earlier with Lido Alliance BORG and currently leading the development of Wisp, one of the vertical expansion bets.

Background

Lido Labs is a Cayman Islands foundation company approved by Lido DAO on 30 January 2025 to research, develop, deploy, and help maintain the Lido on Ethereum protocol. It operates under the Bylaws approved by Lido DAO at establishment and is funded through the Ecosystem Grant gRequest (EGG).

The Lido Labs board manages the foundation's affairs and exercises its corporate powers. Under the Lido Labs Bylaws, director elections require approval by both the board and a Community Module Approval, i.e., approval by LDO holders via Snapshot vote.

Proposal

Approve the appointment of Nemo (@nemo) as a director of Lido Labs.

If this proposal is approved and the appointment takes effect, the board of Lido Labs will consist of:

• Jacobus Pietersen, independent director, Caliber
• Nemo (@nemo)

Rationale

Nemo brings a combination of hands-on execution, crypto-native experience, and long-term community engagement that is well aligned with the responsibilities of a foundation director.

Since October 2024, Nemo has been an active contributor to Lido DAO. Nemo's earlier contributions focused on the Lido Alliance BORG, helping advance the Alliance program and the operational work around it. Most recently, Nemo has been leading the development of Wisp, one of the vertical expansion bets set out in the 2026 EGG.

Beyond his work within the Lido ecosystem, Nemo is a co-founder of Daedalus, a crypto-native angel collective that has been operating and deploying capital for six years, and an active admin and core contributor to LobsterDAO, one of Ethereum's longest-running communities. Previously, as CPO at Santiment.net, he worked at the intersection of on-chain analytics and crypto market infrastructure.

This background combines operational experience, market infrastructure knowledge, and practical judgment, while Nemo's contributions across Lido-related workstreams demonstrate accountability and alignment with the DAO’s broader interests.
