LIP-005: xDAO investment into StrudleDAO’s off-shoot $ORKAN amounting to $120,000 for 10% share.

Strudel DAO is a protocol that created the first trustless bitcoin bridge. This is a critical component for the ability of BTC to be upgraded to a web3 ecosystem instead of relying in trusted counter parties.

$ORKAN aims to become a major holder of governance influence on the Fantom network and acquire the governance tokens in the Fantom Ecosystem. StrudelDAO holders will own 15% of the newly formed entity and LQDR would get a 10% position on $ORKAN. Through $ORKAN, xLQDR holders will indirectly own more governance tokens in the Fantom ecosystem. Unlike most OHM-forks in the Fantom ecosystem, $ORKAN is bonding yielding assets that will add more value to their treasury like LQDR (converted to xLQDR), SPIRIT, and vBTC which can be added to the Curve Factory pool and paired with WBTC.

Rational/Justification:

• Strudel DAO will acquire LQDR and perpetually lock it. Even the yields coming from it will be sold to acquire more xLQDR; Will give the LiquidDriver xDAO a significant minority stake in the new token; SpiritSwap is willing to whitelist our strudel pools for gauges; Willing and wanting to work together with LiquidDriver to design the incentive structures in order to maximize for the goals of both protocols.
• The $120 000 seed investment would be provided from the yields received by xLQDR holders which currently receive between $210,000-$240,000 in daily rewards.
