Reallocation of 81M PLS from Liquidity Arm to Yield Arm via Strategic Asset Acquisition (Dominance/SAV/Split Option)

Summary:

This proposal seeks to reallocate 81 million PLS from the Liquidity Web Arm to acquire either $DOMINANCE, $SAV, or a 50/50 split of both. The acquired assets will be deployed into the Yield Arm to enhance long-term value generation for the Orion Treasury. This follows a preliminary poll in the Orion Telegram group, where community members expressed interest in this strategy. However, to ensure full decentralization and fairness, a formal DAO vote will determine the asset allocation preference.

Background & Rationale:

A poll conducted in the Orion Telegram community explored interest in using PLS to acquire high-potential external assets that can be leveraged within the Yield Arm. This strategy aligns with the protocol’s mission to gradually shift from tax-reliant funding to external revenue streams. However, some community members did not have the opportunity to vote in the initial Telegram poll. To maintain integrity in governance and ensure broader participation, we are rerunning this decision through the DAO.
