SUMMARY

I, Clinamenic, have been helping lead Lobby3 for almost a year, and have truly been enjoying it. From setting up a DAO tooling stack, to doing graphic design, to managing partnerships, it has been an invaluable learning experience, and worthwhile as such alone. That said, being remunerated for this extensive work is a reasonable request, especially if we want to maintain a healthy culture of respect and recognition of work.

What follows is a overview of the work I’ve done during this Winter, and a proposed payment to match that of Aphilo’s successful retroactive compensation proposal: 9 ETH

BACKGROUND

Below is an itemized list of what I have done for Lobby3 this Winter:

Created the new Lobby3 Discord Server, which is still having some functionalities tested before we really usher in wider waves of members. This includes various bots and web3 integrations designed to facilitate the onboarding process in an increasingly automatic way. Created the Lobby3 Badger Organization, which houses the various non-transferable tokens that our DAO will make use of (E.G. The Voter Appreciation Badge, the Draft Lobby3 Membership Badge, etc). Because they are on Polygon, I haven’t minded paying the gas fees out of pocket. Created the Lobby3 Guild.xyz account, and have been managing that ever since. Extensive graphic design work, including various token designs, website graphics, various DeVox logos and graphics, and a new set of Lobby3 logos (as distinguished from the Lobby3 Legacy logo). Created the new Lobby3 website, and registered the Lobby3.org domain, with which I also set up a google workspace to add nominal legitimacy to the email correspondences undertaken by the Lobby3 core team members. Have managed the nearly-complete engagement with Holonym, to whom we granted $15,000 in DAI to support their development of Holo. Holo is a zero-knowledge ID which Lobby3 will be using to verify user uniqueness, as well as other identity parameters, without compromising the privacy of the user. We now have a usable version of this ID, but there is still some refinement necessary to enable a frictionless onboarding system. Have been drafting, posting, and getting feedback on various proposals. Earned Lobby3 a founding position in the DAO Coalition, of which I am currently the chairman, and which is now a nonprofit, nonstock Delaware corporation seeking 501(c)(4) status. Appeared as a guest on Gitcoin’s podcast-like series, Buidl in Public (hosted by Gary Sheng), to promote Lobby3 and DeVox, and to get real-time feedback from the various web3 builders in the audience. Have been working with Aphilos and our legal counsel to draft the Lobby3 Association Agreement, which will integrate directly with some of the aforementioned DAO tooling and tokens. Have been co-managing all disbursements from the Lobby3 Legacy Community Treasury, and keeping thorough records of such activity. Have been interfacing with contacts for three conferences (DAO Denver, DeSci.Denver, and Federated Futures), and have been managing Lobby3’s sponsorship arrangements with all three. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS

9 ETH, or $13,647 at the time of drafting this proposal, will be disbursed to Clinamenic’s personal wallet, as was the method for previou retroactive compensations.

Because this proposal is retrospective in nature, the various contributions listed in BACKGROUND will inform considerations about whether or not this ETH would be well-spent.

If proposal is successful, disburse 9 ETH to Clinamenic.

By voting in favor of this proposal at the draft stage, you are also accepting that the active proposal will make use of the quadratic voting method, in addition to a sybil-resistant whitelist of all tokenholders at the moment this draft proposal is posted. This measure is being taken in the interest of protecting the decentralized integrity of the Lobby3 Legacy DAO, in light of recent plutocratic circumstances.
