Change common background color

Dear LAG family!

We would like to share some plans for the future of our Love Addicted Girls with you and provide some more information about our plans. For the past few days our LAG community has discussed the collection. While we all love our adorable LAGs, some members have raised concerns that there are a lot of similarities between the girls. Especially so for common ranked girls and a few members suggested that we could upgrade the collection by adding more traits.

A change of traits will of course change the collection, so we want to hear your opinion first. This is an important step for the LAG community and our DAO. We want to do this together with all members and hence our first proposal is:

Change of common backgrounds of NFT

In regard to the current traits, the community agreed that backgrounds can make a huge difference to how much a LAG stands out. Currently, the background of the common LAG is only stripes. This is not a problem when you look at the image by itself, but when you put it side by side with other images, it looks similar. So, a way to diversify this is to create more backgrounds for the common LAGs in an equal manner. This would enhance each LAG's personality and uniqueness further, while preserving their rarity.

In order to add more variety to the background colours, we will change the common background and increase the number from 3 common backgrounds to 6.

＜Rare and Mystic＞ We will not make any changes to Rare or Mystic backgrounds. This is to protect the value of Rares and Mystics for those who have purchased them on OS.

＜ About the Rarity Score Change＞ Currently, there is a huge difference between the Common and Rare background rates. To anticipate the impact, we did a simple rarity score calculation on Google Spread sheet to compare the new pattern with the old. With this change we expect that more than 85% of all NFTs will have only a change of less than 50 places in rarity and almost 98% less than 100.

We want to note that high ranked LAGs will have a very minor change in rarity due to the new common backgrounds. Whereas, a few lower ranked LAGs will have a change of more than 300 in rarity ranking. Overall, we believe having a more diverse and unique collection will increase the value of our LAGs and benefit all holders.
