Postpone First Lottery Draw

Yesterday, an improvement proposal has been issued that faces tremendous changes to the lottery contract and how Lucky8 will work.

The main problems Lucky8 is currently facing are the following:

(1) 10% buy- and sell taxes are very high causing high pressure on tax conversion from 888 to USDC with the current tax reward split.

(2) Resulting from (1), continuous sell pressure prevents people from entering the system (buying $888 tokens) as a large tax harvest sell will follow.

(3) Staking early to participate in the lottery has no benefit opposed to staking “last-minute” before a lottery draw.

(4) Lotteries issued by governance votes create friction and generally a bad UX.

We are issuing this vote in order to postpone the first lottery draw, and wait for the implementation of the proposal to kickstart the "relaunch" of Lucky8 with the current prize pot.
