In the past few sesaons, LXPU have been distributed in U:LXP=6:4 ratios for LXDAO contributions. It is currently proposed to adjust the ratio to U:LXP=8:2. The quantity of U distributed will remain unchanged, while the distribution of LXP in contribution incentives will decrease.
The adjustment aims primarily to reduce the immediate distribution of LXP, ensuring its scarcity and avoiding it being treated as a useless token.
More LXP will be allocated as retroactive incentives to the community, serving as a scarce value to reward contributions that exceed expectations.
LXPU serves as an incentive for contributions to LXDAO, following the Season 5 strategic meeting: distributed at a ratio of U:LXP=6:4.
The LXP functions as a temporary contribution record and solution for LXDAO before the issuance of tokens. It is a non-transferable token that records the contributions made by LXDAO members, serving as one of the ways to incentivize the LXDAO community. In the future, it can be exchanged for $LX tokens. (Initially, 1 LXP was considered to have a higher value than 1 U, serving as an incentive for early contributors.)
However, as LXDAO has been operating smoothly for 2 years, we will gradually reduce the distribution of LXP. Several considerations prompt this decision:
The specific plan involves adjusting the proportion of LXP within LXPU from U:LXP=6:4 to U:LXP=8:2.
Rationale: In accordance with the long-term development roadmap of the community, there is a gradual reduction in the distribution of LXP. It has transitioned from the initial 100% allocation to the previous 40%, and now proposed to implement a 20% distribution. Subsequently, there will be further gradual reductions to ensure the scarcity and value of LXP, safeguarding the interests of early contributors.
In the past, the community's fixed post contribution incentives were divided into three tiers: 20 LXPU, 25 LXPU, and 40 LXPU, corresponding to different personnel levels.
The U portion consists of: 12 U (full-time monthly salary 15,000 RMB); 15 U (full-time monthly salary 18,750 RMB); 24 U (full-time monthly salary 30,000 RMB), which essentially align with the tax-exempt salary for similar positions domestically. Therefore, there will be no adjustments made to the U portion.
After the adjustment, the contribution incentives for each position will be as follows:
In the past, the community's bounties have been calculated at a rate of 25 LXPU per hour, which was evidently high and lacked definition based on tasks.
Subsequently, bounties will be measured based on the outcomes of the tasks to determine the contribution incentives required by the community.
在过去几个sesaon,针对 LXDAO 贡献激励 LXPU,一直按照 U:LXP=6:4 的比例进行发放。
目前拟打算调整该比例为 U:LXP=8:2,其中 U 发放数量保持不变,减少贡献激励中 LXP 的发放量。
调整主要为了减少 LXP 的即时发放量,保证 LXP 的稀缺性从而避免被当作没用的积分。
将更多 LXP 给予给社区的回溯性激励,作为稀缺价值给到产生超预期的贡献。

随着 LXDAO 已经完整运行2年,我们将开始逐步降低 LXP 的发放,这里面的考虑主要几点:
1、避免长期大量的发放 LXP,导致 LXP 的实际价值被稀释;
2、薪酬中 LXP 占比较高,时常被当作降低国库支出的积分没有实际价值,让社区贡献者认为自己的薪酬被打折从而丧失积极性;
调整 LXPU 中 LXP的占比,从 U:LXP=6:4 调整为 U:LXP=8:2
依据:根据社区发展长期路线,逐步降低 LXP 的发放,从最早的 100% 到 之前的40% 到目前拟实施的 20%,后续还将逐步降低,以保证 LXP 的稀缺性和价值,保证早期贡献者的权益。
过去,社区的固定岗贡献激励分为:20LXPU、25LXPU、40LXPU 三个挡位,对应不同的人员能级。
其中 U 部分为:12 U(全职月薪 15000 RMB);15 U(全职月薪 18750 RMB);24 U(全职月薪 30000 RMB),基本符合国内同工种的税收薪酬,所以 U 部分不做调整。

过去,社区的 Bounty 一直按照 25 LXPU/H 来计算,明显偏高,且没有根据事情来定义。
后续 Bounty 从事项结果产出来衡量社区需要给予的贡献激励。
