Self-introduction and your profession

Hi, everyone. I am Seven, and X77 is an abbreviation of my Chinese name.

I studied Film and Television Engineering for my undergraduate degree at Shanghai University and then went on to further my studies in cinematography at the New York Film Academy in the USA. After returning to China, I’ve been running a film and television production company with my college roommate for almost 15 years now. We have been involved in the production of many large-scale reality shows, such as “Produce 101” and “Street Dance of China.”

Your Web3 Experiences

At the end of 2021, I started paying attention to web3 and hope that web3 can be implemented soon to completely transform the production relations of the entire cultural and creative industry.

I’m quite interested in DAOs, so I’ve done some preliminary research on them. All of my web3-related work experience is with LXDAO. I’ve participated in producing a web3-related podcast called “LXTalk” and have participated in some governance discussions.

Why did you join LXDAO?

• I hope to contribute to the implementation of web3, learning by doing. This year, I plan to devote 50% of my energy to web3, and 80% next year;
• I don’t have an internet technology background, but I’ve self-taught frontend (vue) and hope to get involved in some basic tasks to gradually master the essential development skills required for web3;
• Why LXDAO and not another DAO? It’s because of an article by Bruce, and I resonate with the word “conscience.” Whether it’s developing internet products or creating arts, the primary consideration should be doing something genuinely valuable for society, and then receiving rewards that match that value. This is a value I believe in.

What would you like to bring to the LXDAO community?

• I have 8 years of entrepreneurial experience. I’ve transitioned from a creator to a manager, holding the position of COO in my company. I’ve gained some unconventional experience and insights in organizational management and governance;
• Audio and video production is my specialty. I possess professional equipment and resources from other industries, and I own a modest-sized MCN (Multi-Channel Network) company. I can contribute to operational promotions and advertisements;
• I have an office in Shanghai, which I plan to transform into an open community space. The interior fittings and furnishings are mostly complete, making it available as a venue for offline events.
