#TL;DR To manage the uncertainties of a flexible DAO, LXDAO proposes a SteadyForce Working Group for managing buidlers who will contribute to routine tasks, especially in the R&D domain. The group will provide a stipend for basic living costs to selected LXDAO builders who have contributed significantly to the LXDAO. However, the SteadyForce group was identified at the S6 strategy meeting as having a number of issues that need to be reformed.
In the six months since SteadyForce was implemented, the actual total budget spent (as of September) was 6200LXP, 10786U, with an average monthly expenditure of 1240LXP, 2157U. The initial number of members was 4 and the current number is 7. While flexible DAOs can be very effective, some tasks require consistent output, especially in the R&D world. Some tasks may also not be formalized or assigned to a specific work group or project. Therefore, we propose a working group to manage the buidlers within LXDAO who perform tasks that are difficult to quantify. After nearly half a year of practice, the SteadyForce team has indeed achieved the function of stabilizing daily task builders. Many members of the team have also made outstanding contributions to LXDAO. However, there are also some problems that were pointed out by members at the S6 quarterly meeting, such as:
The SteadyForce working group is not transparent enough. Many members are unaware that the SteadyForce group exists, nor are they aware of the rules for entering and operating the group.
The goal of the SteadyForce working group has deviated from its original intention. After the S6 system reform of the SteadyForce team, team members faced high pressure on indicators and had to serve in other working groups with budgets to prevent themselves from being fired. This resulted in SteadyForce having a large number of personnel overlaps with other working groups and project teams. To complete some tasks that are “unable to normalize or be put in a specific Working Group or project”, you need to return to your original intention.
The SteadyForce working group lacks a contribution recording mechanism. Although the SteadyForce team currently implements a daily stand-up meeting system, most of the reported content is related to other project team working groups, and insufficient records are left, resulting in insufficient public transparency.
The SteadyForce working group is too focused on the management of full-time and part-time builders. The work of "management of full-time and part-time builders" is certainly important. At the same time, the members of the SteadyForce team also overlap with the full-time and part-time workers of LXDAO. However, this part of the content should be clearly defined as additional responsibilities of the SteadyForce team.
SteadyForce is a working group within LXDAO that supports the survival and stability of LXDAO's "sustained value producers" by issuing a certain amount of subsidies to ensure that members can leave room for completion of some difficult-to-quantify tasks within LXDAO while ensuring survival. work, improve the internal operating mechanism of LXDAO, and expand the influence of LXDAO.
At the same time, the SteadyForce working group also performs full-time/part-time management functions, which will regulate the behavior of members and ensure that they fulfill their commitments, similar to a remote work company. Team members are required to participate in a daily 10-minute conference call.

In order to encourage all builders of LXDAO to actively explore the optimization direction of LXDAO and cultivate more SteadyForce contributors, a "backtracking incentive pool" with a total of 2000LXPU is set up and distributed at the end of each quarter. Applicant members need to state at the end of each quarter their contributions that are valuable to LXDAO but have not received incentives, and self-declare the incentives they expect to receive.
