The goal is to help LXDAO members quickly create Pods, providing seed funding for valuable public goods projects and supporting them from planning to implementation.

What is a Pod?

A Pod is a fast, lightweight, and self-driven working group that can be initiated without a formal community proposal. It focuses on early-stage projects and research, with funds unlocked and reclaimed based on Milestone achievements. Compared to formal project proposals, Pods have a simpler and faster approval process. By submitting a simple form and passing the review, projects can be launched quickly.

Why Establish Pods?

Low Community Engagement: In the past, LXDAO’s community projects lacked vitality, failing to fully engage members. During S11, new ideas emerged in working groups and forums, but there was no effective mechanism to nurture these ideas and projects.

Cumbersome Formal Proposal Process: The traditional formal proposal process is overly complex, with high approval standards, which hinders the birth of new and innovative projects.

Insufficient Community Activation: Many fresh and interesting ideas lack the necessary funding or resources to move forward.

Limited Open-Source Framework: The transparency and traceability of projects and tasks are insufficient.

Inefficient Task Execution: Some specific tasks or groups lack progress, with too much energy spent on planning rather than execution.

To address these issues, we propose a rapid Pod establishment mechanism to drive interesting ideas and fragmented tasks within the LXDAO community. Pods allow for more precise and focused execution, helping members concentrate on implementation and progress.

How to Establish a Pod

Process: Join LXDAO → Submit Application → Review Application → Receive Seed Funding → Complete Milestones → Unlock Additional Funding → Retroactive Rewards.

Who Can Apply: Individuals or teams within LXDAO aiming to launch innovative projects. All projects must be open-source.

Application Process: Fill out the application form →Submit for review →Upon approval→receive seed funding.→Unlock additional rewards upon Milestone completion.

Funding: After approval, projects receive seed funding. funds are unlocked based on Milestone progress.

How Pods Receive Rewards

Milestone Unlocking: Pods unlock funds by achieving Milestones. Teams submit Milestones, and upon completion, funds are released.

Milestone Submission: After project approval, a dynamic project post is created on the forum. Milestone updates are posted there, and working group members review and organize community presentations.

Milestone Review: After submission, Milestones are presented at weekly community meetings and reviewed by working group members.

Milestone Payout: Each Pod has its own multi-signature treasury. Funds are released from the Pod’s treasury upon Milestone completion.

Uncompleted Milestones: If a Milestone is not completed, working group members will intervene. If no valid reason is provided, funds will be returned to the LXDAO treasury within 7 days. If there is a valid reason, the funds will be temporarily held for one month before being returned.

Retroactive Rewards: At the end of the quarter, retroactive rewards are distributed based on project impact and progress.

Budget Request

Total Incentive Pool: This quarter, the Pod pool will request a total incentive pool of no more than 10,000 USDT to support new Pod funding needs in S12. All new Pod funding will be allocated from this pool.

Funding Allocation Rules:

If the total funding requested by all new Pods in S12 does not exceed 10,000 USDT, funds will be allocated based on actual requests.

If the total funding requested exceeds 10,000 USDT, funds will be proportionally reduced based on each Pod’s requested amount.

在过去，LXDAO 的社区项目活力不足，未能更好的激发社区成员的活力，在 S11 中，我们在工作组以及论坛诞生了一些新的 idea，但是并未有一个完善的机制来推动这些 Idea 以及项目的成长

传统的正式项目提案流程过于繁琐：同时，传统的正式项目提案具有较高的审核标准以及流程比较繁琐，降低了一些导致一些新的完备项目不能很好诞生

未能更好的激发社区活力：社区的新项目活跃度不够高，很多新鲜有趣的 idea 未能更好的提供资金或者资源推动

开源开放度不够：项目的开源框架未能更好的搭建起来，项目和事务的透明度以及追溯度不够高

特定的任务完善度不够高：一些特定的任务或者小组推进度不够高，很多事务消耗了过多的精力在策划上，导致我们推动具体事务的

所以，我们提议发起一个 Pod 快速建立的机制，负责推动 LXDAO 社区内一些有趣的 Idea 以及细碎化的任务

Pod 小组如何成立

流程：加入 LXDAO - 填写申请 - 审核申请 - 启动资金 - 完成 Milestone - 发放后续资金 - 追溯奖励 谁可以申请：来自 LXDAO 的个人/团队，旨在启动创新项目，所有项目需要开源开放 申请流程：填写申请表单 → 提交审核 → 审核通过后启动资金支持 → 达成 Milestone 后解锁后续奖励。 支付：通过申请后，项目可获得启动资金，完成 Milestone 后根据进度解锁更多资金。

Pod 小组如何获得奖励

Milestone 解锁：Pod 小组采取 Milestone 解锁资金的方式，自主提交 Milestone，完成即可解锁资金

Milestone 如何提交：项目通过审批后，会在论坛创建项目动态帖子，项目完成 Milestone 会在帖子进行更新，由工作组成员介入进行审核，并组织社区宣讲。

Milestone 如何审核：提交完 Milestone 后，可在每周社区会议上组织宣讲，并有工作组成员进行审核

Milestone 如何发放：Pod 小组将会有自己独立的国库多签，通过 Milestone 后，资金将会从 Pod 小组项目国库进行发放

未完成 Milestone: 未完成的 Milestone 将由工作组成员介入，如未完成，将会在 7 天后退回到 LXDAO 国库，如有其他确实理由，将在论坛进行公示，资金将会暂缓一个月退回到 LXDAO 国库

追溯奖励：季度末采取追溯奖励，根据项目影响力和后续动态进行追溯性奖励

预算申请

总激励池： 本季度 Pod 池将申请不超过 10,000 USDT 的总激励池，用于支持 S12 季度的新 Pod 资金需求。所有新 Pod 的资金支持将从该激励池中分配。

资金分配规则：

如果 S12 季度所有新 Pod 的申请资金总额 不超过 10,000 USDT，则按照实际申请金额进行分配。 如果申请资金总额 超过 10,000 USDT，则采取等比例缩减规则：按照各 Pod 申请金额的比例，进行等比例缩减分配
