TLDR;

Friendship building through generative art. The co-creation process between the Art Blocks team and collectors started on mint date. This journey didn’t stop there. It continues as holder community try to bring the project value to the next stage. Every bracelet is a seed of friendship building. Every bracelet holder is helping to spread the seeds to a bigger world. FrenArt is a friendship bracelet DAO promotes friendship between the east and west through generative art. It brings in more culture diversity to the space.

Description

After a few days of discussion with the 8DAO guys, the scope of requirements is divided into the following 2 parts:

1. Website: landing page, genesis member management, token gated page, about us, FAQ, treasury, how to join, contact us.
2. Smart Contract: Contribute FB NFT and get governance tokens.

  • The administrator adds or edits member information.
  • Displays genesis member list.
• Token gated page
  • Mint governance token: The user connects the wallet and holds FB NFT. If the user is a genesis member, he can directly contribute FB NFTs to get governance tokens; if the user is a non-member, he can assist the genesis member to contribute FB NFTs, and the member will get governance tokens.
  • Display holding tokens: Display the governance tokens held by the user.

  • Build the front-end and back-end code architecture.

Smart Contract

• Based on ERC721, the supply limit of 38,400.
• Contribute 1 FB NFT to the treasury, and return 1 governance token. For every 9 FB NFTs contributed, 1 governance token is given to 8DAO.
• Once minted, the governance token is non-transferrable for the first 9 months.
• Royalties on secondary trading: x% based on OpenSea standard.

Milestone

After the proposal got approved:

• ~1-2 weeks for UI design.
• ~3 weeks for Website and Contract development, integration, and testing.
• ~2 days for prepared data import and test run.

Budget and distribution

According to the Various types of Web3 role salary research  and estimated workloads above, our budget for this project is around 13956 USDC. According to the LXDAO previous project allocation rules, we would like to have:

• 1716 8DAO Token for LXDAO treasury
• 1000 8DAO Token for PM and communication
• 11240 USDC for development (Designer, FrontEnd, BackEnd, Contracts, and 3 Months maintenance)

Key results

• Officially release the website and contract on March 15.
