Welcome to 0://meme on Zero
A world where you come for the memes and stay for the MEOW in a gamified meme economy energised by experience points (zXP) that generate real value in the metaverse.
0://meme is the home of forever memes where content, creators and fractional owners vie for status and rewards in a system that incentivises quality, performance, engagement, creativity, diversity and originality.
Imagine communities like 0://meme.cats 0://meme.ai 0://meme.wilderworld driving user engagement with a return on investment system that adds value to the zXP, $MEOW and $WILD economy.
Now imagine meme leaderboards inside these communities with opportunities for creators and visitors to accrue zXP from the success of memes measured by view count and other engagement metrics inside and outside the Zero ecosystem.
How about earning $WILD and $MEOW from the revenue generated on land assigned to phygital memelords held by the top positioned creator of each community?
We believe competing for these phygital memelords and the corresponding energy from their intrinsic value in terms of zXP, $MEOW and $WILD can power a virtuous flywheel for the meme economy with reach beyond the initial implementation in Wiami, Wilder World.
We will coordinate with the MEOW Council for setting its management functions such as land purchase/assignments, selecting which resource the land produces and setting rules and parameters for the Council's assets.
An example of a constraint set by the council to incentivise the competitive spirit is the disabling of a selling option on land phygital memelords are linked to.
The MEOW Council will be instrumental in incubating talented memers and maintaining the healthy conduct of creators and DAO entities in the meme domains.
0://meme DAO will dynamically seed zXP to child domains, adjusting supply/issuance to safeguard the council’s values and foster system integrity.
$MEOW distribution for bounties, administration, DAO operations etc is similarly determined, but by the MEOW council, not 0://meme, further strengthening alignment of values with the MEOW council.
The 100,000 $MEOW grant will be used for the following:
Development of a web app
Purchasing 0://meme.wilderworld as the test domain
Purchasing land in Wiami (Not necessary if Wilder World gifts the land to 0://meme)
Commissioning digital artists for phygital memelord creation
Our goal is to set the wheels in motion for a minimum viable product from which 0://meme.wilderworld can grow organically. We are able to deliver on items 2 and 4 within a short timeframe and item 3 as soon as it is available. However, web app development and integrations such as zXP and land require coordination with Zero, Wilder World and the MEOW council, which makes the validity of this grant application contingent upon collaboration agreements with these parties.
With this achieved and execution requirements and costs defined, we will have a blueprint to apply to the collaborative developmental roadmap for further consideration by MEOW DAO.
Case study of a gamified meme economy in 0://meme.wilderworld
Meow Council deposits zXP into a reward pool for 0://meme to distribute
Wilder World meme creators post their memes on 0://meme.wilderworld/associated www site/Zero Messenger for leaderboard competitions, contests, quests etc
Visitors engage with these memes in the traditional manner (like, share, bookmark etc) with the added opportunity to lock their zXP as a commitment of interest in the meme.
The meme accrues zXP through its performance on social media, its total value locked (in zXP terms), its popularity/recognition in virtual exhibition spots like galleries/museums in Wiami etc
Data from this enables a leaderboard in which functionality for dynamic zXP distribution can be layered to engage all participants in 0://meme.wilderworld, not just the top performing ones.
The top creator in 0://meme.wilderworld, wins the title to a customisable phygital memelord located in Wiami. This phygital memelord will have a corresponding land asset linked to it.
The land produces a resource and generates $WILD from the sale of that resource.
$WILD revenue from this land/resource will then be distributed to fractional owners of the memes.
Earning capacities of phygital memelords in Wiami can further be stretched to incorporate token-gated activities, sponsorships, heists, IRL activations, the possibilities are many.
Memes in the cultural landscape of the digital age have yet to find a distribution substrate catering to consumption beyond one dimensional engagement. We want creators and consumers to see the appeal of a playground in which the creative spirit roams for fun, power and profit in a low and high stakes gamified order that satisfies from unseen dimensions.
