Should we reduce the 5-day staking ROI?

Overview

To further reduce the inflation on the MAG token the core team believes it is once again time to reduce the 5-day staking ROI for $MAG (currently ~4.01%). We propose reducing the ROI by half.

A For Vote

The current 5-day staking ROI will be reduced by half.

An Against Vote

The 5-day ROI will remain the same.

An Abstain Vote

The ROI will remain the same.

The DAO will consider the options and revisit the vote at a later time.

Future considerations

Our veMAG system will launch soon, encouraging more long-term staking through economic incentives. The staking APY will also be supplemented in the future by allocations of tokens from projects we partner with or those that we build, like Vector Finance.
