Vote “Yes” to list the USDS/USDT Pool on Wombat’s Voting Gauge.

Abstract

With the deployment date of the USDS/USDT pool on Wombat Exchange (BNB Chain) in plan, Sable Finance is prepared to raise the motion for the listing of the USDS/USDT pool on Wombat’s voting gauge. The new pool in addition would enable USDS/USDT liquidity providers to benefit from earning an extra share of the daily WOM emissions via gauge voting. This proposal suggests supporting the listing of the USDS/USDT Pool on Wombat’s voting gauge by voting in favor using Magpie’s veWOM holdings.

Motivation

Maximizing the accessibility of USDS and users’ capital efficiency is an integral part of Sable Finance’s development plan. The decision to expand the utility of USDS by listing the USDS liquidity pool (USDS/USDT) on Wombat Exchange was intended to leverage its simple and secure emission distribution mechanism, as well as its efficiency for swapping stable assets. By providing enhanced liquidity pools for Wombat users, Magpie stands to potentially benefit from an increase in TVL as users can supply liquidity via Magpie to optimize their WOM rewards through our platform. In addition, vlMGP holders will have the opportunity to vote for the USDS/USDT pool and earn incentives through the Magpie bribery market.
