MIP #50 - Support for Radpie’s Proposal to Onboard cbBTC on Base

Abstract:

This proposal asks vlMGP holders to decide if Magpie should support Radpie’s vote on whether to add cbBTC (Coinbase’s wrapped Bitcoin) as a collateral and borrow option on Radiants Capital’s Base deployment. The vote will help guide Magpie’s decision in the Radpie SubDAO on this matter, ensuring that the community’s interests are represented.

Motivation:

Supporting Radiant’s proposal to onboard cbBTC would help expand the options for Bitcoin holders to engage in decentralized finance (DeFi), adding more liquidity and utility to the ecosystem. This aligns with Magpie’s broader strategy of promoting growth and participation in DeFi through innovative asset inclusion.

By supporting this proposal, Magpie can contribute to making the Radiant Capital platform more attractive to users and strengthen its own position in the DeFi space. It also ensures that Magpie remains aligned with its mission of fostering liquidity and engagement across its ecosystem partners.
