MIP #86 - Support vlPNP Consolidation to Arbitrum While Maintaining BSC Operations

Abstract

This proposal seeks to collect feedback from vlMGP holders on whether Magpie should support Penpie’s PIP-21, which proposes consolidating vlPNP governance locks to Arbitrum and sunsetting vlPNP services on Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Optimism. The proposal clarifies that Penpie will continue supporting PENDLE LP Boost operations on BSC and that MGP will remain active on BSC. Magpie’s vote on this matter should reflect the interests of the vlMGP community.

Motivation

Penpie’s consolidation plan aims to unify vlPNP operations onto Arbitrum for a more streamlined user experience, stronger liquidity concentration, and enhanced development velocity. Importantly, the consolidation does not impact BSC-based services or the strategic presence of MGP on BSC, which addresses concerns raised during PIP-20. Supporting this improved and clarified proposal helps ensure Magpie continues acting in alignment with both transparency and long-term SubDAO growth.
