The proposed changes include discontinuing the veCAKE model and gauge voting, unlocking all staked CAKE, removing revenue sharing, and reducing CAKE emissions. This MIP allows vlMGP holders to guide Magpie’s vote on a matter that directly affects the long-term future of Cakepie and its role within the PancakeSwap ecosystem.

Motivation

As a key stakeholder in Cakepie, Magpie holds significant influence over its governance through CKP. PancakeSwap’s Tokenomics 3.0 proposal introduces a significant restructuring of its governance and emissions systems.
