MIP #69 - Consolidation of Sympie into Eigenpie for Unified Symbiotic Access

This proposal seeks to gather votes from vlMGP holders on whether Magpie should support merging Sympie into Eigenpie. Instead of launching Sympie as a standalone SubDAO, its intended functionalities will be integrated directly into Eigenpie. This consolidation will allow Eigenpie users to deposit directly into Symbiotic vaults, enhancing user experience and simplifying access to Symbiotic’s restaking features.

Motivation

Merging Sympie with Eigenpie will streamline operations, consolidate liquidity, and simplify the user experience. By integrating Sympie’s intended functionalities into Eigenpie, users will have seamless access to the Symbiotic protocol’s benefits without the need for a separate SubDAO. This approach reduces operational overhead, eliminates ecosystem fragmentation, and creates a more efficient structure for managing staking opportunities.
